This prof just scrolls through text book notes which are just copied and pasted directly from a text book.
This prof is extremely slow and lethargic.
He teaches the course really well and makes it much easier than it could be. The lectures are informative and the key to success in the course is to do the problem sets and tutorials as all the exam questions are very similar to those questions.
everything was fair, super nice marker
This course is pretty hard, but Marco makes it fair game by giving us problem set questions which are reflected on his exams just with different numbers. If you do all the problem set questions properly you're chilling. The final is kinda hard because he really tests theory on that, however the midterm and quizzes are free marks
Overall a really solid prof. All lectures are recorded and solutions to weekly homework assignments are posted in full so it's very forgiving if you happen to miss classes. The exams are fair as they were made up entirely from tutorial and homework problems. There is a LOT of material and vector calc in this course so practice as much as you can.
In our class, we had four in class quizzes throughout the semester which were all based on the problem sets and tutorial questions that he gave us. He also allowed us to have a single handwritten formula sheet for the quizzes and double sided for the midterm and final. All lectures recorded and livestreamed as well! Well organized and fair prof.
Although this class doesnt have a lab component, the prof tries his best to present real life applications and how certain theories were discovered, which is very fascinating. This class is content heavy so practice is key. The prof is nice, knowledgeable and delivers the content in an easy way. He is however sometimes monotone when presenting.
