Grading was unpredictable. Exams were unnecessarily hard. Wouldn't take as a booster grade. Take only if necessary!

Elena Is the best Prof I have ever had in life. She changed my whole life. I hope everyone has a chance to learn from Elena. Any university would be lucky to have her!

Nice lady but her lectures and slides were very boring and repetitive, also assignments were not clearly written out and left students with many questions in which she would send out long emails half way through the assignment due date

Elena is very kind and helpful! However, she often fails at engaging her students. Her assignments and tests are also a bit challenging.

Elena is easily the best lecturer I've had so far throughout university. She is so knowledgeable and will take the time to answer questions to make sure students understand the material and assignments. The assignments were interesting and fun to complete; if you have the option of taking one of her classes I would highly recommend it.

Elena Chou is a sweetheart. She made a mandatory course simple, straight-forward and interesting. Her insight on Sociology captures her intelligence. She's flexible and extremely accommodating to her students. She approves extensions if you communicate your hardships with her. Overall great Prof.
