Good teacher very easy to get a good grade if you study a bit for exams and do assignments on time.
Pretty easy prof but he doesn't post his full slides online. Also speaks faster than the slides and tends to skip slides that won't be posted later. Probably would be good to get slides from a student in another class. Grading for projects and case studies is quite lenient though.
Professor's grading was a bit unclear. Be sure to pick good groups for presentations. Not too hard, but lacked organization.
Should not be in charge of a capstone course. Also the TA uses AI to grade. Shame on whoever allows for that. Praying for you kiddos who have to take it with him. Hopefully Henrique uses last semester as a learning opportunity cause he is not accessible and takes forever to grade. This course will keep you on edge for four months.
Overall not too difficult of a course. But he takes ages to send our marks back and the TA uses AI to grade our work instead of actually looking through our work.
For a capstone, takes forever to grade, is not accessible outside of class, and TA uses AI to grade student work (without consent). Does not follow his own grading criteria, so grading does not accurately reflect student's success or academic capabilities. To the future students taking 850, this course in no way represents your success. Good luck!
I'm in his lecture rn writing this review. He's not the best but he chill guy tho. If he was more straightforward his lectures would be 1-2 hours max, yaps a lot about his personal life especially Brazil. GMS200 is based off the chapters of the textbook, so you don't have attend in person lectures.
Nice prof. His TAs are lenient. Midterm was very easy, but Final was difficult as he added lots of application and Globus Qs. He is a chill guy but his lectures are not useful because he just speed runs through the slides. Just read the textbook to study, he himself says that. Overall he is easy and chill. Find yourself a good group for Globus.
Approachable and nice professor, but email responses can be slow or no reply. Midterm was fair and based on the textbook. Final exam was very time-pressured with 120 questions in 120 minutes and focused heavily on detailed Globus interface questions, including specific screen elements.
Everything was straightforward and easy. I will say I thought all of the GLOBUS questions on the final exam would come to me naturally so I did not study them at all, but I'm pretty sure most of the marks I lost was because of this lol.
