Philip Walsh

I never write reviews but prof Walsh has to be one of the best BUS800 profs you can have don't let previous ratings deter you. Comparing him to other profs he sets you up for success and truly wants you to do well. BUS800 is a lengthy course and requires you to invest a great deal of time but if you work hard you are rewarded with prof Walsh.

This is your sign to not take him and settle for a prof without any review. I compared assignment outlines with a student in another prof's class and Philip's is harder. He's also not a nice guy because while other sections got extensions, he still penalized late submissions. Overall, he's super shady and goes back on his words a lot.

Professor Walsh is kind and direct with what he wants from you. The groups have a 2-3 page assignment after every single class that only counts for participation/dinner, it's a lot of work. He is specific with feedback & the final assignment is not bad but very long -get started ASAP. The midterm was general. He is pretty generous with grades.

midterm was a disaster (vague and riddled with errors), open book but most people struggled to get 80+. charismatic and nice but vague with directions and expectations seem arbitrary at times. cant say i learned much but u could do worse as far as bus800 profs go. not my favourite class or prof
