She wasn't bad to be honest, she gives several resources to help with the course and the SPSS marks and overall best prof for QMS. Her accent is NOT hard to understand.
Professor was okay, homeworks and SPSS were easy mark boosters. For overall success, learn the calculator throughly and word problems. This is a course solely on the calculator, the prof with minimal effort. While attendence wasn't mandatory, I would highly rate that you go.
Clare is very nice, but her lectures are a bit confusing and her handwriting is messy. Her mic volume was too low also. The S.P.S.S projects gave a good opportunity to boost the grades. The My Labs were also very hard and the final exam and midterm were all very difficult. Overall I would take Clare again over the other qms210 profs
she gets things done and her accent isnt even hard to understand but she does have messy handwriting. she gives more than enough resources so u can understand the material.
Professor Chua is an excellent lecturer. The lectures are very clear, she goes through the material in great detail, and she emphasizes concepts that were taught in previous lessons as the course progresses. She provides well over the amount of resources needed to do well. There is no reason to blame this prof for doing bad in the course.
I joined her class late because I was stuck with another guy with an incomprehensible accent. She still had one but it's easy to follow her work. She posts her notes and doesn't care if students don't answer, she's there to teach those who want to listen. Midterms were easy I genuinely thought I was doing the wrong one. Adv. Func. is all u need.
Best QMS prof out of all options, she provides all the extra resources needed to do good on the exams (her exam review is accurate). 100% taking her for QMS 210 as well
Great prof to me, her accent might be hard to understand for some students but not for me. The course is literally high school Math. She explains the materials very clearly. If you don't understand her accent or the materials, ask questions, don't just hate her. Tests are quite easy but the exam will be tricky. Utilize the extra materials.
She is by far the best option compared to all the other profs provided. She explains each step clearly and shows every step she uses in calculation which is helpful at times. However, she does have an accent and makes a few tiny mistakes throughout the lecture sometimes (which is a bit annoying). She is a bit intimidating tho.
OUT OF ALL OTHER OPTIONS SHE IS BY FAR THE BEST IN MY OPINION! This course is relatively easier if you have a strong understanding of of high school math and lectures are not really important if you can read the slides yourself. Her exam reviews are extremely helpful and she does tell you what to focus on if you attend lectures.
