This professor is very nice and kind to her students. Her class consisted of a midterm and final, along with a paper. Her exams rely heavily on the readings, so be sure to do them! The final paper was just a reflection on a guest speaker.
Her class was easy but she was a horrible prof to be honest. The final was full of questions we did not even study in lecture, she gives air time to the yappers, she talks in one tone, and her grader takes so long to mark and shows up in the middle of exams late. Honestly distracting. Also, why make us do a D2L exam IN-PERSON? That is so pointless.
Professor Flaminio is so incredibly sweet. Her lectures are concise but the content is so interesting and important. There's a good amount of readings, and 3 assessments in total (all online). I'd highly recommend taking a class with her, and I hope that I get to in the future!
This is a good prof who cares about students and what she teaches. She is very very sweet. She wants students to do well and learn. If you go to class you will do well in this class and you will learn- she shows videos which are engaging.
She was one of the best profs I had in criminology she is very caring and sweet.
Dr. Flaminio is honestly one of the best profs I've had, she's super understanding and not a difficult marker. there is one group presentation but after that you just have to listen to other presentations and participate. def recommend her for the seminar requirement
never take this professor as you won't learn anything. she only requires you to read articles, watch documentaries and teach nothing. please avoid.
Very easygoing prof. I had an emergency and she gave me extensions and was really reasonable and caring. The lectures were straight to the point and she would go over it in live zoom sessions every other week. Assignments were really easy and she marks fairly in my opinion.
Took on Fall 2020 and we met every 2 weeks with her on zoom. We did not use a book, but every week we had to read and watch videos or documentaries which is really time consuming. She is a great proff and the class was good overall but is a lot of work load especially when you have other 4 classes that ask you the same.
Dr. Flaminio is one of the best professors I have had at Ryerson! She is super understanding and caring. If you need an extension and have a good reason she will help you out! We were graded on 4 things, 3 assignments were easy but the final I struggled with, but it was my own fault for the grade I got. Overall, I 100 percent recommend her!
