Overall, the course experience was okay. There were often discussions and activities that didn't seem directly related to the lectures, which made it difficult to stay focused. Also attendance was never stated as a mandatory but after midterm we were told it was. I wish there was flexibility with the time.

The lectures often felt disorganized and could have been more neat. While the professor was kind and approachable, the amount of talking (especially during the morning session) made it difficult to stay focused and absorb the material effectively. A lot of it was irrelevant to the course.

The final assignment was pretty easy. Midterm was the hardest thing but it wasn't that bad if you studied the material. Online quizzes are easy As.

Dr.Rothman is an amazing professor. She had office hours and helpful TAs available for any questions. The course included weekly quizzes, a midterm and 2 assignments. The Midterm was totally different as compared to the Quizzes. The 2 assignments required a bit of research but were quite easy to do as she provided very clear instructions.

If you're reading this can you please show up to this amazing professor's lectures when you have her. She is so sweet, and sure you may be able to get an easy A without attending. But her classes are amazing! If you are going into public/occ health she educates you on crucial things one must know about the world and the determinants of health.

The professor, Dr. Rothman, is amazing. Although she tries to keep everyone interested, her lectures can be occasionally uninteresting. When speaking with her in person or online over emails, she is passionate about what she is teaching and is incredibly friendly. Her quizzes and midterm are easy but her assessments are quite annoying to do. 5/5

She is amazing and she inspired me to be a better student and person

Straightforward lectures, around 20-40 mins online. Weekly quizzes on lecture material, the short readings, two to three quick and video clips. I got good grades and happy to take this course. In the beginning of the course I missed a quiz and asked for an opening but got denied. Keep an eye on the due times, at times it was 10AM! Would take again!

This professor is the worst professor I've had. She is unclear about what she wants. She is a very tough grader. I've heard complaints before. She takes long to respond to emails or sometimes does not reply at all. I would suggest avoiding her at all costs. She can be rude as well. I wish I could go back & take this course with another prof.
