He has an attendance mark (if you choose to attend lectures), and increases its weightage an unbelievable amount. Why you ask? Very tough lectures and exams, usually will go on a (sometimes fascinating) rant outside the scope of the course. Very evident he is one of the most passionate folks regarding economics

Generally a great prof and very helpful, however the tests are extremely hard. He makes it clear that lectures do not provide all of the necessary learning. Be ready to read a lot. He tries his best to help student succeed by curving, measuring attendance (to add to curving) and provides good feedback and responses to questions. would recommend fs

This professor is very nice and an inspiring speaker in macroeconomics. His lectures were interesting as he oriented students to each new chapter. But, you had to read more (his notes and the textbook), to prepare for assignments and exams, which was both helpful and stimulating. He cared about his students and wanted them to succeed

Great prof class is engaging. Final is impossible, but he will curve it. Ultimately, rely on the textbook becuase he dosnt talk about everything in the lecture.

Great prof for macro. He explains concepts clearly and uses simple whiteboard notes that actually help. The course can feel tough, but he's very fair with grading, drops low assignments, gives bonus marks, and adjusts attendance to support students. You can tell he genuinely cares and doesn't want anyone to fall behind. Def take him for macro.

Just took his final for ECN 204 today! This professor is extremely nice, and goes out of his way to ensure his students succeed. Unfortunately, I was placed in an online section, which made it difficult for me to learn. He is extremely knowledgeable about Macroeconomics, and is one of the best professors I've witnessed over my years.

Best professor ever! He really cares about students and his lectures never get boring!

So I was supposed to fail the course but he actually boosted everyone's mark so I went from a F to a C+. He cares about his students and ignore any negative comments here. Take HIM if all other options has been exhausted. Also he gives a bonus 5 percent if u attend every class.
