Sarah Bull is one of the best profs I've encountered at TMU!! She is so kind, understanding, and really knows what shes talking about in terms of subject matter. Ive had her for a couple classes and would definitely recommend her. She is a tough grader but is fair and will make time to talk with you if you don't understand an assignment or concept

Absolute best prof at TMU.

She is nice and is always available during office hours to help but she's also a tough grader. There's a lot of reading to do and note-taking from lectures. Participation matters. The exam is worth the most.

She has unclear expectations and an extremely tough grader. She closed a submission too early because our submissions were apparently "dubious," making half the class get a zero on one assignment. On top of that, she marks very slow yet she marks papers fast if it's a zero. She definitely would rather give a zero than even give a bad grade!

Sarah is a kind and caring professor. She is extremely easy to reach and will provide thorough feedback on all assignments. Her lectures are engaging and organized and she is a very fair grader. Could not recommend her enough!

Every assignment was explained clearly and the breakdown of participation assignments made the final assignment much less daunting. I went to her office hours and she was very patient while I tried to articulate my thoughts and ideas. Would recommend :)

Prof Bull is very kind, understanding and helpful! While this course definitely isn't the easiest and there is quite a bit of work to complete, Prof Bull is clear on what she wants. The weekly assignments were easy to complete. I was nervous for the final so I booked office hours with Prof Bull and she gave me helpful feedback. Would take again!

I was nervous to take ENG 810, but Professor Bull broke down the assignments in chunks each week and was a kind prof. She is open to questions, and I found the assignments to be helpful for the final project and kept me on track. Like others have said, she is clear and direct about what she is looking for, and I'd recommend her for ENG 810.

The class syllabus intimidated me at first, but Professor Bull was very helpful in the way she broke it down in increments every week, so the overall research projecte was completed at a good pace. She was so kind and respectful of each student and their needs, and was always easy to reach out to outside class hours despite the pandemic. Great job!
