Professor Saeedi really wants you to succeed. His midterms especially are difficult for any course, but he really wants you to succeed. If you attend his lectures, he gives exam hints and you will definitely pass his course as long as you show him you really want to. Had him for 721 and 713 passed both great prof.
Graduated during COVID with Prof. Saeedi. Unbelievably nice and down to earth Professor. Reached out to him on LinkedIn if he would kindly review the self-taught FEA material I posted on my website, and he did— which helped me land my first “real” technical opportunity as a graduate. Eternally grateful for your time and mentorship, Professor!
He is definitely caring of students success! Since MEC830 is a mechatronics systems design course, there is only one quiz, but mandatory theory component for students to pass the course with atleast a 50%. I had attempts to redo the quiz to improve my grade. Overall, the prof does give students a chance to do well in a course.
Not good proff, the ego is crazy. Out to get you.
A well rounded professor with multiple fields of expertise under his belt. He does tend to create harder than normal tests, but he means well. Be ready to pay attention and read the lectures afterwards in preparation for tests. But he only teaches upper level courses, so that should be expected.
Nice prof but his lectures are useless for exams. Lectures are just derivations that aren't tested. Exams are about 90% theory and 10% calculations, but even those calculations are easy to mess up. Take notes from the textbook and make sure you understand everything. Don't underestimate the course, it requires a lot of understanding. Tiny curve.
Vibrations is inherently a hard course, don't forget that. Dr. Saeedi breaks down the course in such a way that it becomes quite simple. His lectures are a must if you plan on understanding the content. The evaluations this term were very theory heavy, so read the textbook as well. Overall, I don't think the course could be taught any better.
One of the best professors in the department. Professor Saeedi cares for his students. He understands the challenges students are going through and offers help however he can. He goes beyond the course material to make the class more interesting to learn. Overall a great guy and would love to have him for future classes.
Amazing Prof. Unlike so many other prof Dr Saeedi is very understanding of the student situations and thus I feel like I have learned way more from his class opposed to my other classes where i'm just focus on deliverables and due dates and not the material being teached.
I had Prof. Saeedi for Vibrations, he was by far my favorite professor. He went above and beyond to explain the difficult concepts introduced in the course. He is very kind and genuinely cared about inspiring and getting students enthusiastic about the course material. Very great teacher and a very great man. It was a joy to sit in your class sir!
