Super nice and his class is very easy to do well in. Unfortunately throughout the term I was frustrated by his lack of communication. For example, he told us the night before the scheduled date of a midterm that it would be the next week etc..

Ronald is so awesome.

Ronald is the best. He is so funny and caring, and makes language learning super fun and engaging. Everyone should take ASL with him.

Ronald, great prof!! He's super easygoing and sweet. You do need to attend the lectures in order to understand the material as the prof is deaf and not able to verbally communicate. He uses workbooks that contain homework material every week but it's not difficult and you ACTUALLY learn ASL. His communication on minor things could be a bit better.

I absolutely love Ronald. His lectures are very inviting and inclusive as he makes sure everyone understands what he is saying in ASL. Practice is important but it's okay if you don't get every word as Ronald is very approachable and kind. Would absolutely recommend that everyone take his course as ASL is so important to learn.

Really enjoyed this class. It is important to pracrtice ASL everyday for you to fully grasp and ace each assignment

I don't know if I got him in an off-year, but he did not seem very invested in my class and it kind of ruined my ASL learning experience compared to 101. He cancelled so many classes, and his communication is very bad. He is a nice and funny guy but just plainly did not seem like a good prof to me this semester. Might just be a one off semester...

Hes nice, and the class is fun. It's very social, and you learn by working with others. He's not great at responding to emails, providing feedback, giving back assessments, or just explaining the mark breakdown. But he's hilarious, and genuinely teaches

One of the best profs at TMU! Do not stress about assignments or tests because he may change last minute or its not as hard as you thought it was. Genuinely cares about his students' success. If you're an introvert - prob not for you cause there is a a lot of partner work. Very easy grader, other than some confusion in his emails, he is great!
