hes very kind and passionate. I finished the course with a 96% and I would say its pretty straightforward, especially if you enjoy writing/creative work

This class was absolutely amazing! Professor Jaques was knowledgable and clear in the lecture, as well as entertaining. There are a lot of readings each week, however, this is the only homework, aside from the midterm, essay and the final. He was approachable to talk to after lectures and the TA's were great too. Easy A, would take again !!

Fav prof this semester. Very clear that he is passionate and wants us to enjoy class/school. Sometimes tiring b/c long class but adds interactive elements/videos, actually talks about relevant issues/ideas to our generation, jokes. Videos and podcasts as "readings" some weeks, final project had a zine option! Very clear exam content. Kind soul.
