Professor Gauntlett is an amazing professor. You get a lot of reward for being engaged in class and putting passion into your work, even if you mess up at times. He's easy to reach outside of class over email, and if you have a question to ask, he's very respectful and clear in his responses.
Such a kind and positive prof! Loved his lectures and hearing about his passions/interests, such a cool guy! Attendance is a Google Form done during break, the project proposal is pass/fail, and the final project you grade yourself! 1000% recommend for an open elective!
HAPPIEST AND THE FUNNIEST PROFESSOR EVER!!! LOVE HIM SO MUCH :)
Loveliest professor and class! 30% of your mark is based on attendance (google form in class) and 20% is a pass/fail proposal for your final creative project which is self-graded. David is such a jolly happy guy, would def take his class!
Great professor and really cares about his students. Would definitely take a class with him again and am gonna miss him!! :)
Can't say enough good things about this prof. Clear course outline - attendance isn't mandatory but it's 30% of your grade (just doing a quick 1 minute google forum every week in person). 11/10 take him for your open elective if your not a creative industry student. my favourite class in uni so far.
David is such a sweet man and an overall great prof who gives super easy lectures (you dont even need to go). The only thing is that all semester we did not get a single grade back, literally just one at the end. He does mark super super easy just not much feedback unless asked. So in the end i was happy but stressed until then
this prof is so funny its unbelievable. I felt like I was paying to go to a comedy class. his lectures are super fun but when the semester gets busy u really feel like not going. the assignments are all super easy and are actually really thought-provoking imo. what a guy, I wish all my profs were like him
If you're thinking about taking any of his classes, DO IT DO IT DO IT! I promise you won't regret it :)
