Very kind professor, clear grading, fair marker, and the lecture slides are really detailed. Did not buy the textbook and still succeeded in this class! Fiona is great!!
She's a really caring professor and I liked her. Her lectures are okay because she reads word to word the slide, and it's the exact same paragraphs as the text book. She would read a paragraph and then realized the next part on the slide is exactly the same, and she read/repeated the whole paragraph again on the slide.
Really liked her. Assignments and final exam were fairly easy just pay attention to grammar/ spelling. Lecture slides aren't word-heavy so a suggestion is to attend lectures and take notes based on what she is saying to best understand the course content. Overall she is a very kind and understanding prof.
Fiona was amazing throughout the course. The first Research class I took was too much so it got me worried about taking the second Research class as well as it being mainly group projects. She was extremely understanding, helpful and resourceful when it came to lectures, communications and group work. She provides great feedback too.
Really nice prof, but her grading is really tough and doesn't give specific feedback. You can tell she loves teaching and values students' voices but expectations are very high for projects in terms of writing and grammar.
Fiona is such a sweet and caring professor. I enjoyed attending her seminars and she is quick to reply to emails. She is a tough grader and she expects pristine and professional work! Overall great experience, would take a class with her again.
She is amazing, easy to talk to, available to talk to, will help you and is happy to help. She is amazing 10/10!!
Dr. Fiona Moola is one of the most supportive professors at Ryerson University. She appreciates when students speak to her during office hours to seek help with course material. She provides lots of feedback with assignments. I would take her again for any course. SHE'S A GEM! Take her for Research II if possible :)
This was a mandatory class for my degree. I took research 1 with a different prof and I didn't do so great. She is amazing I took research 2 with her. She is very caring and helpful, always available to talk. She appreciates when you go and talk to her and really wants her students to do well. She is amazing!! 10/10
I think Moola is very knowledgeable on the course, but is yet to adapt to D2L which made it hard for the students as well. She is very caring and has extensive experience in the field of child disability. I second what the majority of these ratings say and how her "midterm" was not really a midterm since it occurred 2 weeks before our final exam.
