Dr Kashef has given me the support I need to pass this course. Due to my challenging needs in academia, she has allocated many office hours to work with me. A great thank you is not enough for the help and passion she has shown me.
I appreciate the efforts made by the instructor to teach the course. fewer assignments are recommended. Prepare for lots of reading and preparation.
Very bad prof. Doesn't teach at all she forces you to watch her recorded YouTube videos and just reviews the quiz u did on her zoom call. She makes u attend every lab just for submission. Final exam was on another level, half the exam content was never taught and the exam was extremely hard. She gave us 2 hours for a exam that needed minimum 3
On the personal level, Dr. Rasha is the most wonderful, caring professor; she has helped me through my academic work despite my personal challenges. For the OS course, I enjoyed the materials taught by the prof; however, I recommend choosing more qualified TAs. My TA is always unprepared, which has caused delays in the lab submission.
I really enjoyed this Software Engineering class. The way goal modeling was explained made it super easy to understand. The review materials were super helpful before tests, and the assignments actually helped me learn. The prof was clear, organized, and always ready to help. Great course overall!
I had the pleasure of taking COE 628 course taught by Prof. Kashef, and I can confidently say that it was one of the most intellectually enriching and well-structured courses I've attended. Dr. Rasha brought a remarkable balance of deep technical knowledge and clarity in teaching that made even the most complex concepts accessible and engaging.
I just completed both course 691 and 628, the exams needs lots of preparation. I strongly recommend waving the weekly quizzes as so much headache. Over all learning is good. Also I recommend more hands on use case for the 691 course and more quantitative questions rather than then memorizations for the 628 course

I just finished the final exam for both COE691 and COE628. I guess the final exams would needs more time rather than Ethan two hours. Overall experience and learning in the courses is really good.
The course overall is very helpful. The last two classes with the review sessions were amazing. Thanks for such valuable learning.
