This is a physiology class, so there was a lot of content to go through. Don't watch her lectures, they're a waste of time since she was just reading off the slides. Quizzes and exams had some very specific questions, but weren't too bad if you studied from her slides. Quizzes could get a bit stressful sometimes - 10 MC qs in 8 mins.
Teaching style isn't the best but slides are straightforward. Lots of reading but it is a physio class lol. Overall quizzes are simple if you study and midterm/final were m/c + matching. If you actually study you'll do decent, probably an A- or higher.
I took BLG700 with Dr Graham and this course was way more manageable. At the start she was very strict and didn't seem to care about students concerns but this changed towards the end. Tests focus on physiology way more than anatomy and the physiology concepts on tests were often the easier concepts. She provides great answers to questions.
if you read everything and test yourself, you'll do well but don't expect good feedback from her. if you don't do well on quizzes or midterms and you want to know what you got wrong, she will just tell you what 'area' of the test you did wrong. she won't give you exactly what you got wrong so good luck on trying to get feedback from her.
From my experience, she's nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews claim. Physio is supposed to be a tough, content-heavy course, but Dr. Graham's tests were all super easy. Just put in the work and you'll get an A.
HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! SHE IS SO INCONSIDERATE. GIVES YOU LIKE NO TIME FOR YOUR ASSESSMENTS AND TAKES A REALLY LONG TIME TO GIVE FEEDBACK. DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANY OF HER STUDENTS. DOES NOT LISTEN TO STUDENT FEEDBACK. WAS NOT EVEN IN THE COUNTRY. DIDN'T BOTHER TO HELP AT ALL. I HATED THIS CLASS SO MUCH.
Very well educated and knows her material. However, she does not care about the well fare or success of her students. She is very strict so don't expect any compassion from her. Would NOT recommend if you are actually trying to expand your knowledge of A&P beyond what she teaches.
To her credit, anatomy is very memorization based. With that being said, she also didn't need a cumulative 25 MC final. Quizzes were very short, I barely had time to think about my answer. Basically, if you don't know the material like the back of your hand, you'll run out of time. Mastering A&P not required but very helpful.
she sounds more miserable giving the lectures than how miserable you are going to feel
Most inconsiderate prof ever. 3 hours of EXTREMELY content heavy lectures and powerpoints with about 200 slides each week, she expects you to have EVERY tiny detail memorized. Her assessments are invigilated, short, cover 3-4 chapters, and she doesn't tell you what to focus on. I have 800 flashcards in 2 weeks. No time to study for other courses.
