Kourosh Zareinia

Professor Zareinia is a very good professor. The courses he teaches are pretty difficult and content heavy. However, he is very lenient with marking and giving solid questions on exams. To pass his course, you NEED to attend his lectures to absorb the content of the curriculum. Ask questions when needed, as he is very welcoming to helping students.

BME323/MEC323 is a tough course in of itself and hes a good teacher its just the questions are super hard. God knows how much they curved the final by to pass everyone cause everyone was bombing the bi weekly quizzes lmao

Very nice and caring and helps out on midterms and finals if asked. Gives pop quizzes for bonus marks. Answers questions well and does not get frustrated when people ask stupid questions in class. Helps out alot for course project if asked in person for help. Lectures feel long & he forgets to take breaks and is very monotone & reads from slides.

Great prof, definitely attend as many lectures as possible. He usually lets everyone know exactly what style of questions are coming for the bi-weekly tests and final exam.

Goes thru examples very well, very helpful since this course is basically only examples and no theory. Prof is extremely accommodating and caring. Genuinely wants his students to succeed. But he's EXTREMELY SLOW in class, we need a 3x speed button for real #snoozefest

Amazing professor, He engages with the students and the problems that he does are equivalent to what can be seen on the exam and the weekly quizzes. This professor is the best prof in the MIME. If you have 323 try your best to be in his sections because the TA's in his section mark really fair and give free marks.

literally the sweetest prof ever. had him for bme/mec323. if ur taking this course with him, the beginning will seem really scary as it is a very new and difficult course. hes literally such an amazing prof and he makes difficult concepts simple to understand. literally the reason i passed SOMEHOW. AND GO TO LECTURES PLEASE

Honestly such a caring prof. He genuinely wants his students to succeed and learn the material. The class itself is difficult but he does make it easier. His exams are very fair from the hw and review. Overall amazing prof!

Hes not a bad teacher but the amount of work is unreal there are five 2% assignments which are 10 page literature reviews or multiple page long problems. His tests are mostly linear algebra and doesn't actually test robotics stuff. There is a literature review worth 20% of your grade for which he expects you to review 100-120 papers...???
