Yanfei Sun

Yanfei was great. Very caring and willing to help. Going to classes is very important for this course. The only bad thing I'd say is that she talks a little fast and a little hard to understand. But if you're willing to ask questions and participate, you should do great.

This prof is super sweet, has really great energy, and always tries to make the lectures more interesting. She really cares for everyone and makes sure you understand; she'll explain a concept over and over again if anyone is having trouble. That being said, her lecture's slide format can be a little confusing, but overall, I really recommend her!

Fin 300 is not easy but she was really kind and helpful. Yanfei was always very energetic and engaged with her class. Her teaching style is very hands on, providing many ways to solve problems and calculator methods. The midterm and final are somewhat challenging so attendance is mandatory. The class average was low because students did not attend.

She's okay, I appreciate her energy and enthusiasm. She could explain the concepts more clearly. The material honestly isn't too difficult, I just slacked off in the 2nd half of the semester since I got a good mark on the midterm. The exams are challenging, but aren't too different from the sample questions she provides.

Kinda stressful course but for sure the best prof at TMU for CFIN 300. This course is really hard and requires so much work to be put in, which isn't really her fault. She's really kind and will answer emails fast and is for sure one of the better profs for CFIN 300.

Just had the final for cfin300. She did say it was going to be similar to the practice final she provided us but it wasn't... So just keep that in mind since it was much more difficult. Otherwise she is SUPER sweet and really kind! She responds to emails within the hour, even within 10 minutes. Great Prof!

just did my midterm for fin300 on cheng, I completed her sample midterm THAT SHE PROVIDED AND OUT OF 30 QUESTIONS FROM THAT SAMPLE, AT MOST there were only 4 questions similar structure. What is the point of providing a sample midterm if you're just going to make questions the complete opposite to what we learn from. SETTING STUDENTS UP FOR FAILURE

honestly dont know why she doesnt have more good reviews. she was amazing. she actually cared and would go over things if even one student didn't understand. she showed us how to use the calculator constantly. course isn't easy, but that isnt her fault. she might the best prof for fin300

The course itself is hard so there's a lot of work no matter what, but she was always open to give extra help. She responds to emails quickly and was willing to meet with me before and after class with little to no notice.

Clearly explains concepts and answers all questions. Also provided a lot of help before exams
