Whilst this professor has a respectful attitude, she genuinely didn't care for the well being of students. If you're doing poor, you're on your own. She is super excessive. She claims to be fair to everyone, but fails to understand that not every student is the same. Overall, I thought she was extra for no reason.
I love Professor Min Hong's teaching style! You HAVE to take her if you're taking AFA500. Coming from someone that did terribly on AFA300 & 400, it shows how great of a professor she is at breaking down complex concepts in accounting. Attend all her lectures if you want to do well in this course and take notes. Read the textbook before class.
How the hell was that final graded. I was doing good before it and actually thought it went well :(
I really appreciate her teaching. The concepts are presented very clearly, and the tests are based on the material covered in class
Very nice professor with a positive attitude. The tests are fair and well-aligned with the material covered in class. Overall, a great learning experience!
Overall she's a good prof. Her teaching style is a good fit for a course of this level of difficulty. Her midterm and case test was fair however, the final exam was much harder than expected. Do the practice questions and keep up with the content every week to pass.
Nice professor but I have to agree that she takes up the easiest questions but does not handle any of the difficult issues. Although, the midterm and final are very fair.
Minna is a good prof for your last financial accounting course. She goes over theory extremely well and then does calculations. She's always available outside of class and is a really nice lady. The midterm was easy, and the final was fair. She does go a little fast in her lectures but there is a lot of content to cover. Definitely recommend!
Her midterm and final was incredibly difficult. Midterm average was so low she had to bellcurve the grades by a ridiculous percentage although she didn't do the same for the final. Lectures are helpful to your learning but the questions she takes up arent nearly as difficult as the test questions. it's like she likes to see students do poorly
Professor Hong is so kind towards her students, her classes are very organized and her lecture content is very helpful for assignments. The midterm and final are difficult but if you put in the work they are not so bad. Hong is so sweet and she really loves seeing her students succeed, would HIGHLY recommend taking her class for any financial acct.
