Ava Cross

Professor Cross is by far one of my favourite profs I've had. CMN314 is a daunting course for people who don't like public speaking, but she made it so accessible and comfortable for everyone. She cares deeply for her students and wants to see you do well. Very accessible outside of class. Make sure you do feedback forms to get some extra marks!

Ava is amazing and super helpful. If you are looking for an easy class CMN314 (professional presentations) is a great one to take. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Best CMN314 prof at Ryerson. She is a fair marker and is very funny. She was fairly easy compared to other cmn profs.

Ava truly is a sweetheart and I really enjoyed being in her class. Reading the textbook isn't necessary to obtain a high grade, main focus is placed on presentations and outlines. Marking was fair and it was a pleasant experience working with Ava. Willing to spend time beyond class to help you improve. Would strongly recommend this prof.

Her class is so organized. She is so nice and I enjoy having her class. She is helpful too. She boosts up my mark as much as she can.

Went in thinking it would be a bird course, but there's a lot of small assignments and shes not an easy marker except for the presentation. Class material can get a little dry, but she's a nice prof.

Ava is a great professor, she takes a hard/nerve-racking class and makes it fun. Very personable and helpful. I would recommend her to everyone, you will do well in her class if you try your best (its all she asks of you).

Overall really good teacher very enthusiastic about teaching the subject. Very tough marker though so don't expect this to raise your GPA. She gives out mostly B's in her class. Tough but possible to get an A in the course
