Eva Jewell

Sweetest and most understanding prof I have ever had. Her class was incredibly enlightening and she was extremely fair in her grading. I hope I get to take another class with her again.

Genuinely such an amazing prof, she is so engaging, all of the readings she assigns are do-able. She is also a very understanding and kind person on a personal level and always feels very approachable. I asked her a question and she replied with a full outline of her expectations which I found very helpful. Overall love her

Dr. Jewell was a delight to have as a prof. She presents material in a very understandable way, participation is a large portion of your grade so as long as you go to class you'll be fine. Pretty lenient grading, and if you do get a bad grade she'll clearly explain why so you can fix it next time. Very accommodating and understanding

Eva Jewell really made her lectures so thought provoking and interesting, also just a very kind and approachable person. She really further sparked my interest in Indigenous history and culture a lot. shes so swag!!!

Dr. Jewell was among the top professors I have had here at TMU, very understanding and caring. She wants students to succeed and sets you up for success in the class while you become more informed on Indigenous history. Although very sensitive topics she can teach them so everyone can comprehend and is respectful. I 100% recommend this class.

I really enjoyed having Dr. Jewell as a professor! She's a very passionate and intelligent individual, and she's a very genuine person who cares about the subjects she teaches as well as her students. Across all of the professors I've had at TMU, Dr. Jewell has definitley been the best!

Professor Jewell was absolutely one of the best professors I've ever had. I've learnt so much about Indigenous culture & communities through her course. She explains things very thoroughly and clearly which is why her lectures are very immersive. Def not a class you'd wanna miss because the lectures are highly informative

genuinely one of the best profs ive had at tmu. incredibly insightful, very clear lectures, and not too many assignments. course is so interesting and i thoroughly enjoyed it. dr. jewell is amazing and i would take every class with her if i could :)

take this course if you want an easy A. take some of the material with a grain of salt but overall it was a decent course and an easy mark. Teacher is nice, and does not present the information as absolute fact as much of it isnt, she more presents the other side of the story and allows students to digest the information as they will
