She emails fast but a bit mean in responses. I don't feel comfortable in her class. No rubrics. Little to no feedback on assignments.
picks on you in class tough grader, doesnt have assignment clearly mentioned
Dr. Petra tends to have favourites in class..takes attendance even though participation is not part of the grade so be aware but I showed up to most of her classes. Overall, I would not recommend her as a prof. Lectures are boring bc she mainly reads directly from course content and the class often feels dry bc everyone is scared of her lol
Lectures are boring. I dreaded every class with her, I would not recommend.
Do not take her class. She picks on people in class and forces people to volunteer to read... Does not respond to emails and takes forever to mark our work.
Gave me a 0 on an assingment that I submitted and completed. And when I asked for her to regrade it since I was going through extensive circumstances she still said no.
Dr. Roberts' lectures are discussion led, be prepared to participate or be called on. She often critics responses but does so to encourage critical thinking, overall her discussions are worth listening and engaging in. Albeit a tough grader, adhering to the guidelines should be enough for you to succeed. Be careful with your APA citations as well!
dr. roberts will call on you in class, take a month to grade your work and provide you with little to no feedback on said work. she is also just genuinely mean in her responses to you. her lectures are boring and goes over the same thing you've probably already learned if you're a cyc student i.e. three pillars of trauma informed care.
Dr. Roberts, is able to provide support in this course through the use of zoom meetings. She aims to answer questions and responds to emails quickly. The only problem would be her marking lacks feedback which could allow you to struggle in the final paper that is 65% of your grade. Other than that she is fairly rationale.
this prof made me want to yeet myself DAILY throughout this semester she doesnt know what she wants, and denies your answer until you've hit the nail on the head. my classmate literally shared something and she said nope, think more about it and then she walked away. she doesn't accommodate espec when i have AAS run if u get her bc the prof rotates
