confused with the course layout. no real grading scheme and you're left in the dark. despite this really big concern, he's fun and does try his best to get us some practical skills for co-op, though the course is is not helpful.
Kris seems like a kind person but his teaching is a mess. There are multiple weekly assignments, due every single week. It's the end of term, still dk if they were for completion lol. His feedback is useless tbh and so is the course; it's all over the place. Attendance is also mandatory, which is grueling bc of 3 hour lectures abt resume format.
Kris clearly cares about his students, and is passionate about the work that he does. However, with that being said, he is incredibly vague at times, assigns a lot of work work that doesn't really matter much in the grand scheme of things and so much of the content is things I already knew so I got quite bored at times.
He's a really good professor who cares about his students and takes a passion in what he does. That being said, the classes were boring but the guest speakers were interesting. The assignments were tedious but very easy and the only way to fail this class is to not do any work.
HONEST REVIEW: - career integration class so mostly about what you want to do after graduation - very approachable, caring, and accommodating - lots of group activities and mini small projects so read course outline clearly - checks participation so just come to class to get the extra marks
He's a really nice guy, always accommodating and flexible. But truly the most useless class I ever took, especially considering it's a career integration class. The workload has no point and it feels like you're just doing work for the sake of doing it. Wasted my time and money.
Lots of homework, but for a 4th year course it's to be expected. The only issue is the structure of the course. Won't take late assignments at all, so if something happens to you last minute or you're not able to hand it in on time you need to contact him ASAP. Attendance heavy! Overall, he's a nice guy but yeah the structure was all over the place
He's not a bad guy, but the way he taught this course was agonizing. The lectures were nonsense and so irrelevant; we aren't being evaluated on anything from them. So many assignments, but it's pass/fail. Attendance is mandatory (graded) and he doesn't care if you have a valid reason to miss. Doesn't respond to emails.
Ugh. Just... ugh. He's not the worst, but the formatting can be better
Was not the only one who he marked unnecessarily tough but also with other classmates. His grading criteria and his actual constructive criticism literally contradict each other. It makes no sense to give such low marks when I clearly provided evidence to my paper. Good nice prof, but disappointed from his unrealistic contradictory expectations
