Lectures are long and mundane. Be prepared for the group projects!
AVOID THIS PROF!! Lectures are dull, & he insists on not defining terms directly. He takes attendance even though it's not graded. For the group project, be extremely prepared, he asks tough, interrogative questions and involves other students to ask you as well. He gets irritated easily, even over setup delays. He's just a buzzkill and headache.
Great prof, knows what hes talkin about when it comes to marketing techniques and theories, engaging lectures and challenging tests (but not too hard as long as you read the content)
great prof. I guess he's just misunderstood. it's pretty clear that he cares about the students, just study a few days before exam.
Im sure hes a nice guy, but not the best prof. Passionate about marketing but makes the course diffcult for no reason. Also picks on students at random to answer questions during lectures.
-didn't let us use the washroom during tests -called on students to answer -didn't curve grades with a class avg 55
Literally useless going to class. Pretty hard to understand and dry content-- Taught myself the theory and math and got an A. Textbook is free but pretty long and pretty important for exams. He has good slides for the metrics. Pretty much a self-taught course though
The professor lacked respect and support for students, often being overly judgmental. His teaching style was unclear, making it difficult to follow the material. Grading felt inconsistent and unfair. Overall, he failed to inspire or create a positive learning environment.
This course was very demanding and difficult, and having it with this professor didn't help either. If you can take it with anyone else please do; otherwise, keep up with the weekly quizzes and practice the metrics as they are harder on the midterm and final.
He barely mentions the metrics for MKT100 which is very important. The lectures just repeat what's in the textbook and aren't necessary. His midterm was online but in person and the website crashed and most of the class could not finish on time.
