I had Michael just for the tutorial section of CMN100, and he was great at facilitating the activities. I wish he were the lecture prof as well because I responded to his way of teaching better. Very funny and loves to have class discussions. When I had any issues with assignments, he was very helpful in sorting them out.
Michael is a chill prof and fair marker. This is the second time I've taken a class with him. Although it's a bit tricky that we could only survey other CMN 313 folks for the primary research section, it is still doable. Also, he gives good feedback on assignments, it's a healthy mix of positive and constructive feedback. Would recommend!
Class felt like a high school class more than a lecture; classes are short and engaging, so make sure you keep up with all the work. Very nice professor and a good guy
what a legend. he got no knuckles tho
The best communications prof you could want. His class was pretty small and it felt more like a high school class (in a good way). You get marks for showing up and he keeps class engaging. Easy assignment and easy group assignments. He answers all questions and sets everyone up for success. Take him!!
Nothing much to say just an amazing prof super easy to get a high grade on, you get marks for attendance
There are weekly quizzes but if you watch the videos, you should be able to score good marks. Attendance was counted towards grade and other assessments included making slideshows and recording yourself presenting it. You also had to give feedback to classmates which counted as marks (write 2 sentences 1 good and 1 bad about their presentation)
This prof is a very hard marker, I have worked so hard on an assignment and did not get the grade I wanted.
