Exams are very difficult. Do mylabs and discussions to save your grade. Only a few things from my labs and modules shows up on the exams.
For a finance course shes a pretty good prof espescially considering this course is fully on your own. Beware of the midterm and final since they are harder than the mylabs. In order to do well DO THE BONUS ASSIGNMENTS AND DO THE MYLABS AND DSMS. Those really add up your marks
It's an interesting course, but a lot of material. Definetly need to know course content in and out to be successful on the midterm and final.
Tests are impossibly hard, requires you to know the material inside and out. If you're going for an A, MAKE SURE YOU DO BONUS ASSIGNMENTS AND ALL LABS. It'll make up for your marks.
Took this through Chang's school and it was basically self-learn (no lectures) through modules and textbook. She answers questions on D2L but is otherwise unhelpful and doesn't provide feedback on the midterm (15%) and exam (50%). Weekly modules for marks on MyLab (which costs ~$100) but she provides up to 10% bonus through discussion posts.
She is extremely caring and and very supportive. She spends extra time beyond the course materials if you ask. I have nothing but very high regard and respect for her.
her quizes and midterms were very challenging, but only because she gave 10mins per quiz and 15mins for midterm. Quizzes were out of 10 and midterm was 15 questions. Know the textbook and online modules inside out. Final was easier because had so much time, and was out of 50
absolute crap teacher. typical chang class learn everything by urself. no test prep whatsoever, avoid at all costs
Makes tests and quizzes extremely difficult and is rude when you ask questions. Questions are worded in a very confusing manner as if she wants everyone to fail. Would never take a class with her again.
