Tbh I never went to a class of hers because it was at a bad time but I've only heard good things and she curves if you show improvement from the midterm to final. Don't take her makeup midterms! Be sick another week because they are way harder than the original.
Prof Sussman was an amazing prof. She gave us the lectures videos prior to class and then in class did practice problems directly related to the course and its material. If you went to class, the exams were super easy.
When she asked for feedback after the Midterm, she didn't respond well to it and got agitated. The final was easier after she noticed everyone wasn't abnormally fast. - part 2
She explains well, we had our lectures 1/2 prerecorded and 1/2 in person. She is very fast, so you would benefit more from the prerecorded lectures. However, if you tell her to slow down, she does. Her Midterm was awful quantity-wise, not content. There was no space or time to answer the many questions. - part 1
Definitely not gonna take classes with this professor ever again.
Great prof, explains the material clearly with examples. The exams were tough but definitely passable
Dr. Sussman ensures that all students understand course material through in-class participation, and is always there to help you if you have any questions. The labs are relatable to the material and very straightforward. Tests allow for appropriate application of knowledge gained from the lectures, which makes the course involving and interesting.
Dr. Sussman takes the time the time to actually teach and is always open to rectify any mistakes she or her TAs make. The labs are relatable to the material, her lectures are enough to cover the midterm/final content.
