Great professor. Was very nice and didn't rush topics.

Rushes through core concepts like their side notes and spends crazy amounts of time on details that don't make sense until you have a basic understanding. His lectures are a distraction to what actually matters.

The professor seemed to be very interested in the subject (data mining) and some of the lectures were pretty engaging. The difficulty was pretty good for even people completely new to data mining, it provides a very good introduction to the subject. Lots of hands-on coding in labs/projects so you're able to apply concepts that you learnt.

Professor Irfan delivered an industry relevant and engaging data mining course. He doesn't read off the slides like most TMU profs, but actually elaborates and explains the motivation behind learning the theory. Just all around great professor.

amazing prof, never met a prof like him. Great at teaching and extremely caring which you wont find most professors like. An amazing man, wish I get to have him as a prof again. Easy A in this class if you pay attention and ask him for help!

He's actually amazing man. Like I ain't a smart guy but the way he teaches and the way he keeps helping you till you understand is amazing. Whatever he teaches you is on the exam and nothing more. I wish i could take every course with him.

This professor has a sincere approach to instruction and real world knowledge about what's important in industry/working life. His heart is in the right place.

Please read his announcements. He has tought about all the dates and the schedule. AVOID redundant questions. If a prof is nice and lenient, doesn't mean we can be like high school students. Also, get ready to do some self study. Nice prof is not equal to AAA lectures. Not all the good things gather in the same spot! Appreciate no hassle no stress.

Really good professor, easy marker, teaches everything well, is transparent with the stuff that he will put on the exam, take it if you can, one of the better CS profs

Slides are good but his lecturing style is bad. Constantly asks questions to which only a few students reply and won't proceed until he gets more participation. It's distracting and a waste of time. He also begins class with a long intro & then speeds through the harder concepts at the end. Ppl did bad on the midterm b/c he focused on tiny details.
