Had him for orgo and he was a gem. Really made learning in the pandemic easier on all students!

Very knowledgeable and you can tell by the way he answers questions. Precise in his replies. Teaches the material clearly and nothing out of the ordinary showed up on the exams.

This guy is amazing. Super aware of student's mental health and a very fair professor. Lots of oppertunities for office hours and to answer questions, responds fast to emails. Overall amazing and fairest proffesor around. Really cares about his students.

Honestly I have him during a pandemic, alot of students dont go to his actual lectures where he goes over material like weekly tests (only me and 3 other students), but he was the only prof that took the mental health of the students into consideration making it easy for us to study in engineering it means alot. this was for orgo 1. Thanks

Evans is a good choice for a prof. He explains content clearly and is concise and efficient when answering questions. Make sure of his office hours as well. The only downside was that for our cohort, he hardly covered the last chapter due to time constraints, so be prepared for that should it happen. Overall though, he's a good prof worth having.

This guys is the best proff ever, he puts up full lecture notes so you don't even have to pop up to class just read the slides whenever before the mid term and finals and you should be more than good to go, this guy is the best proff at ryerson, if you attend his lectures you will learn a lot as well but if you can't his lecture notes are dirty!!!

Professor Evans was behind on the material which resulted in some dense and rapid fire lectures and extra online content to fill the gaps. I can't speak to his efficacy in office hours but he was a fair lecturer. I wish he had managed behaviour in the lecture hall better. When classroom chatter rose he would just go faster. Please don't talk.

Dr. Evans is a true gem. He posts all his slides (which are very thorough and are really easy to study from!) and makes all the assessments fair. Really wants to see his students do their best! Definitely would take again.

Dr. Evans cares for you to do well in his class, very passionate about chemistry and generally very uplifting, he's rather laid back, but is able to call you out in a lecture if you're disrupting the class. Tests are fairly "hard". Responds to emails fast and has all of his lectures up two days before the lecture. Solid choice for chem:)
