Yes, the previous reviews are all truth. This man is out of touch entirely as an educator. He does not care about students, provides the same feedback to everyone, critiques his students as if we are all getting our PhDs (Ashby, if you're reading this - you gotta chill dude) This was quite possibly the worst class of all my 6 yrs of post-secondary.

This professor provides unclear instructions, making it difficult to understand expectations. He often gives positive feedback during the assignment process, only to grade unexpectedly low. It's frustrating to receive nearly identical feedback on different assignments. The grading feels inconsistent and lacks transparency. Don't take his class!

Professor Ashby may be the worst professors ever experienced. Complete lack of new information being learned in any capacity beyond repeating the same slideshow every class. He constantly has it out for his students, picking favourites, and giving out ridiculous marks (if they even manage to get back to you). DO NOT TAKE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO!!!

Cannot teach, crashes out every class, very slow marker, learned 2 things all semester. Do not take this prof.

gives unclear instruction, does not return assignments in a timely manner, then gets very angry when the class does poorly. ashby, if youre reading this, pick a different career, stop torturing students.

what a nightmare. very unclear assignment feedback, grades very harshly and gets upset when class collectively struggles to understand subject matter or stay engaged. has a tendency to make very rude remarks. refuses to take any accountability for class average being very low year after year. avoid at all costs.

Jamie was one of the worst profs I've had. He would always say that my in-class assignments were horrible and get academic help. If you have him run.

If I could give this prof a zero, I would. He is the WORST professor I have ever had my undergrad career. I don't know how he has gotten this far. This class was a nightmare, and this dude was even worse. -1000000

This class was unfortunately mandatory but I gotta say this man does not know what he is doing. The course and content is not even that difficult. He just gets off of not teaching and then failing everybody.
