Such a caring and kind prof, she truly cares about all of her students. She takes the time to get to know them and learn about them. Very passionate about the field and is very approachable.

Dr. de Leon is such a good, kind, caring, and knowledgeable professor! She loves to hear her students' opinions and loves it when we participate in class. The attendance or participation was not mandatory. We had a small paper and very very easy midterm/final exams.

Very kind and social prof. The course is pretty flexible, I missed many classes, but participation will really help

Dr. de Leon is an amazing prof. She is genuinely a very caring person, and great to talk to outside of class as well! She has very flexible deadlines. Her grading criteria are not super clear, but she's a lenient marker so it balances out. There was a group project where students made all exam questions and you got them all in advance, easy exams

Honestly, one of the best classes I had since I started university, professor took the time to get to know her students, very accommodating, lectures had an open conversation structure, and we got to help make our midterm and final exam.

Professor Conely de Leon is amazing. lectures are insightful and discussion based. We talk about a lot of social issues and everyone seems to have a shared understanding of topics. Professor De Leon was by far my favourite prof during my 4 years at TMU. She made sure to learn all of the students names in the course and greet us every class. She was incredibly respectful and kind. I enjoyed her assignments, and she provided engaging, organized, and insightful lectures. Her classroom is always a safe & welcoming environment.

Honestly one of the sweetest profs I've encountered. Genuinely wants all her students to do well.

Dr. de Leon is the most amazing educator I've ever encountered. Her pedagogy is so refreshing, as she cares for her students in the most holistic sense--not just as students, but as human beings. I've learned so much from her and it goes beyond the contents of the course. She inspires us to produce work that deeply matters. She is truly a gem!!
