He is not a good prof, he rambles and I had a hard timer understanding him in lecture. It was hard to follow along during the lecture because the content is dry and he doesn't make it any better. Pop quizzes every week, worth 1-2%, fortunately, the midterm was made up entirely of the pop quizzes. Overall he's meh, but I wouldn' recommend.
His works of writing are actually pretty interesting to read which is a shame because he is a subpar professor.
One good thing is that he didn't want to assign a textbook because he understands they're expensive and students are unwilling to buy. He does, however, give pop quizzes basically every week. He's also a little condescending when he speaks which makes students afraid to speak out in class. In all he was okay, if you just do your work you'll be fine
He does random pop quizzes and takes attendance as part of your mark (only took attendance on the one hour class which was annoying). Marked hard on essay and didn't provide feedback. Rambled a lot and didn't teach much material; I learned mainly from textbook. Asked inappropriate questions in class, e.g. if students supported abortion and sex work
He was an okay prof but I wasnt a fan of his teaching style. He does pop quizzes every week that are based off the readings. The class itself it pretty easy to do well in if you go to class.
