Dasha Pawlina

Dasha is THE best CI you could ever have at TMU. She's a NP QUEEN, inspirational nurse, and amazing teacher. If you have her, you are LUCKY. You will learn A LOT from her. She's not only very knowledgeable but also very funny and caring. She often brought foods for us. She always offers opportunities to learn and pushes us to do better. Miss her.

I remember coming to her rate my professor reviews and being so stressed but she's honestly so sweet and the best CI. she genuinely brings good vibes and cares for her students learning and it's always willing to be there while we learn something new and perform a skill. She's not a tough grade her grading is fair. You're lucky if you have her!!

Best CI ever! She genuinely cares about her students and truly wants everyone to succeed. She is always on the unit trying to look for learning opportunities so you will gain so much experience. I learned something new each week even when there wasn't a lot to do. Ask questions, do research before meds, and try your best!

All her bad comments are salty people who want to do nothing at clinical. It's a place to learn and at first i was overwhelmed with the questions and her way of teaching but i really gained SOOOO much experience.

She's so energetic and sassy and she really does care about her students. She wants you to learn and I leave clinical every day with information I would have never picked up from any other clinical instructor. She's a very fair marker. Be prepared when you give meds and research your stuff well and you will have a really good experience with her :)

I had Dasha for the fall semester and I miss her soooo much. I'm in the winter semester right now and reflecting back to the previous semester, I learned so much back then compared to what I'm learning right now, which is nothing. Don't take her for granted and use this opportunity to learn a lot.

GENUINELY THE BEST CI EVER!!! We were really scared because of her ratemyprof but she's preparing us to be good nurses. I learned so much from at TWH and she was very hands on; never afraid to step in and help us :) Use this opportunity to learn a lot from Dasha !!

Had her for clinical and she did have high expectations but given the career we're going into… it was much appreciated. I feel like I learned a lot from her and she very obviously cares about her students you just have to open up to her a bit to get the best experience. Would love to have her again as she is very knowledgeable + helpful.Ask her qs!

Had her as my CI years ago and she made all of us extremely nervous to attend clinical placement. She made students cry and embarrassed some of us infront of patients. She did help us enhance critical thinking skills, but she took every chance she could to make us feel stupid. If she's your CI, give yourself grace and lean on your friends

Dasha is knowledgeable, but very rude. She is condescending and puts students down in front of others. She has embarrassed us in front of patients and our own peers. She will take any opportunity she can to humble you. So many of us have cried at placement. Avoid at all costs.
