this prof is horrible, the critical book analysis was worth 40%. the midterm was timed for literally one min per question. he doesnt give good feedback. im not bad at essay writing .. how tf did i get a 20% on my essay????? my classmates got 30-40% too. he is a tough grader. he does not emphasize with you either!! he is terrible

Professor Phillips is very down to Earth and understanding. He may mark harsher than other professors, but email him and ask him anything you may not understand, or anything you may want to write about and he will be very helpful. I got a 75% on the midterm, after having a call with him, I was able to boost my mark to an 85! Hes very accommodating!

Professor nitpicks on your word choices in writing. expect to get a grade of 70% for all assessments.

Beware of this professor, they're the Grinch of grading! He grades like he has something to prove. It doesn't matter how well you write. They're the 75% bandit! Run for your academic life!!!!

This Prof only gives 70% no matter what you do. I got 70% for the midterm and final and critical book review.

I loved this class tbh. Easy two short assignments, a midterm, tutorial, and a final. The online lectures were short and easy to follow, and even better in person cause jokes were made, even at 8:00am. Lectures and tutorials lighthearted and discussion based for me. The TA's do most marking, so pray you get a good one.

Took this as an online class and it was very easy to follow along and keep up with the work. He seems very nice though I only ever interacted with him via email. As long as you read up on the content everything else should be straightforward. Made my semester easier.

Really fun course. I took this course when classes were online and we had pre recorded lectures with no class. The prof responds to emails very quickly and gives good feedback on any concerns you may have. Two tests, final exam, one essay, and discussion posts for marks. Definitely recommend.

I read this prof's reviews and figured he was really good, but I thought wrong. His grading got much tougher. I'm a straight-A student, but this class dropped my gpa down a lot. His instructions for the assignments are very vague and unclear and he takes marks off for minor things

Feels like a cool older brother/uncle teaching your class. Likeable and engaging during lectures. Tests and assignments marked fairly. If unsure about assignment requirements, talk to him and he'll make sure to steer you on the right path to getting a good grade. Overall great prof. School system needs more young profs like him for the future.
