Best math professor, I would definitely love to take another math course with him.

He knows the content very well and tries his best to make sure everyone understands. But when the material gets more complicated, he is not as good at explaining it clearly. His exams are fair and similar to the lecture examples.

First half of the sem taught very well. He would use the lecture notes as a reference and solve all the questions / derivations on the board. Second half the content gets harder but he stopped doing all the questions by hand on the board and just started reading off the slides. Overall good prof but preferred his method in the first half

Course is well structured and was a pleasure to take. Midterm and Exam were very well in line with practice materials. Professor goes into depth with the theory to help you develop your intuition. Had to brush up a bit on proofs but overall a very caring professor that I would highly recommend.

For the first half of the course he was doing perfect (It was mostly probabilities so nothing serious). But then, the second half is just hard to understand so I can't actually blame his teachings. Just be active in class for the second half cause the final is gonna cook you.

The midterm was much more difficult than the practice midterm and the assignment.

Lectures covered everything in depth which was nice. A lot of the multiple choice questions on tests were more theoretical, which was quite different from the more practical approach to lectures. Lecture slides are super in depth and cover everything well in case you miss a lecture.

Had him for Stats last semester and thankfully for this semester as well. Great professor, encourages you to learn the proof of certain theorems and lemmas to understand concepts fundamentally. Gives a practice midterm and final exam which is good review for the actual tests. Gives good examples during lecture. Goat math prof.
