Very tough and unforgiving grading. Forget a single in-text citation or not have one for every fact (even if it's common sense) and be prepared to lose 5-10% on assignments. You'll get 0 for the whole citation and grammar portion. Attendance was taken, but wasn't for marks. If she's the only prof available for this course pick another elective.

Don't take this prof. She teaches like she's making stuff up on the go and grades really hard. Feedback is not clear, have had to go up to her and have her fix my grade multiple times because she graded unfairly. 5% of every project is removed if you mess up even one citation or grammar, and this isn't an English course.

The worst professor you can imagine in the entire school. Horrible human being that does not care about you in the slightest, she will listen to you suffer with a smirk on her face as you tell her your problems. Grading does not make sense whatsoever and meetings are absolutely pointless and will get you no where.

Horrible professor. Extremely unclear assignment instructions. Harsh marker with feedback that makes no sense. Very slow paced and uninformative lectures, in which she forces participation. Will be unfairly critical just for its own sake. Hostile attitude towards students.

Worst class ever. If ur thinking about taking this to improve ur gpa THINK AGAIN Never ever ever again. I hope all her kids go through professors like her

do not take this prof she is a really hard marker and does not provide clear instructions. I thought with an elective course it wouldn't be too hard, but she made me want to drop out of the course

Trust meee you don't wanna take her. Obsessed with references being perfect and will always cut grades for that. Does not accommodate at all. Points out stuff in presentations just for the sake of being critical.

she calls out on people for no reason. if your group member isn't present even for a legitimate reason, she automatically skips their presentation. sometimes showcases discrimination as well. never take her, avoid her at all costs.

She puts in a lot of effort to encourage critical thinking and develop problem solving skills from her students which I found invaluable. I like how I didn't need to buy a textbook for this elective course and anything I didn't know was just a search query away. Felt like a real uni level course and not just someone spoon feeding me all the answers

Please avoid this professor at ALL costs. As she mentioned, she literally expects you to give up 30+ hours a week towards her class. And for this being an online class, she definitely doesn't take the time to reply to your emails. Please save your brain cells and your sanity and DONT take any classes with her.
