Bad prof. very poor manners and is extreamily rude. he will laugh in your face and not answer questions but will give you a question as an answer. AVOID

Okay prof. He's a nice guy just not good prof. Talks a lot and his lectures r very boring. He also has participation which is very random. His grading is weird sometimes u get good and sometimes rlly bad. So proceed with caution. The midterm and exams was horrendous too much content and not enough time at all. He doesn't give any review.

He's definitely not the worst prof you could have, but I wouldn't actively choose to be in his class, either. He's one of those profs who's great to talk to but not the best at teaching. Super funny though, literally sat with him for 40 minutes in the hallway showing each other memes. Not an awful experience but wouldn't do it again.

If you can't do the exam, then you are inadequate, not Nikita. It's such a joke reading comments from people who are somehow emotionally hurt because they got a bad grade in school, and then they just blame it on the lecturer WHO DIDN'T EVEN DESIGN THE COURSE, likely to try to make themselves feel better. Grow up...

Nikita isn't even a professor, he's a contract lecturer that teaches like he hates his job. He flies through things, especially labs because he knows them and has done them for some time but, if you don't understand, too bad, you're SOL. Grading is never clear and his organizational skills are horrible. Smiles to your face and stabs you in the back

tbh his exams/tests/assignments aren't difficult BUT, he gives you the bare minimum amount of time. I'd say about 40% of students in his estimating course did not finish the final exam and got around 25%-30%. if there is a 75 question exam, he'll give you exactly 75 minutes. man does not give you time to think and his lectures are boring af

He's a nice guy, I would be his friend. However, would not want him as my prof. He grades hard, grading criteria is unclear, and he has no consideration what so ever. So disappointed I thought he would be a little more considerate because we're going through a pandemic but after doing that final I'm positive I failed.

Our final exam consisted of 75 questions and we had exactly 75 minutes to complete, no time to think or breathe. We are going through a worldwide pandemic and you think he'd be considerate of that, but he's not. The questions were hard and there was so much material to cover.

He's a great lab instructor, maybe not the best lecturer..

Nikita is an absolute gem, the negative reviews on here are ridiculous. If you don't do the work, you're going to be deducted marks for it. He really tries to meet you halfway and encourages you to learn! Super funny and easy-going, his TA was also so helpful with the review sessions and practice tests. Definitely recommend!
