Professor Silverman puts tremendous work into this asynchronous class, and his passion shows throughout the semester. The class is very informative and also creates an environment that makes learning very easy. He is a fair marker and a quick responder. Class is predominantly discussion posts with a significant essay. Would take a class again.
AMAZING PROFESSOR. So kind and caring. Interesting lectures. He's truly is passionate. Take his class if you ever get the opportunity, you will not regret it
He is one of a kind! If you have the chance to take him as an instructor, pick him!
Charles is a great professor. His lectures aren't heavy and easy to read. Course is mainly simple discussion posts and few assignments. He is so kind and understanding. Would 100% take this class again.
Truthfully changed my understanding on accessibility and disability issues. A fantastic course that was ran in a way to promote students to learn and explore topics interested to them. Meaningful final project. Very happy I took this course as someone working in healthcare.
Very lenient with grading. Also very accommodating. I enjoyed taking this class.
This professor makes it easy for you to do nothing and get an A. I didn't do any readings and discussion posts were no-effort (some others say it's heavy on the reading, but you can get away with recycling other posts without reading anything). Probably the most underrated bird course nobody talks about.
Very thoughtful Professor, as long as you do the work which is pretty easy (doing the readings and his lecture notes). Essay A class
