Dushan Millic

This professor is now at SCAD, he evaluates students not on technique but on his personal artistic preferences. Feedback is minimal, and conformity to his style is often rewarded, while deviation may result in low grades or even provocative drawings of male anatomy, which he appears to favor.

Despite this course being a beginner level class into Adobe software (specifically inDesign and Illustrator), Dushan barely covered anything having to do with the programs. His critiques during group critiques were ruthless and he would cut no corners telling you that your work was trash. He is also very passive aggressive, beware.

I regret not dropping this course when I had the chance. I had no photography experience (its an intro course) & even though he said he acknowledges that, all our work was supposed to be either professional level or super creative, never thought of before stuff. Knowledgeable about the topics but sucks as a prof. All the projects felt the same...

As tough as he is, I found Dushan to be an excellent prof. He gave informative feedback that pushed my illustrations further and was always willing to do demos if asked. He is very blunt with his crits but it helps you improve A LOT. Take advantage of office hours, show up to class, and prepare to put in work. His briefs could be a bit clearer.

I have never experienced a more uninspiring professor. He will criticize work with no feedback on how to improve. Unprofessional and will tell you your work isn't at a professional level even though it's an introductory course. Expect your work to be graded last minute with the only comment being "needs work". Save yourself the pain and transfer.

The worst prof I have ever come across. His class environment was extremely toxic. He told students their ideas had been thought of a thousand times before, and mocked our class when no one felt comfortable sharing our work with him. Also not understanding whatsoever, does not have a single compassionate bone in his body.

Dushan is one of the toughest markers in the school of fashion, he also doesn't pull any punches when it comes to discussing your work. If your work is terrible he will tell you it's terrible if your work is good he will tell you its good. Take full advantage of your office hours and class time, you can learn so much from him.

Milic's class was the hardest class I had taken so far. His assignments are not properly explained and when you ask for clarification he won't properly give it to you . When it comes to feedback he does not give anything that will help further your development. He grades very hard and will not give you a proper reason.

Dont take this class its pretty much useless. Youll be told to just take a lot of pictures without any guidance at all then the prof will be very subjective when marking. Not to mention very arrogant and condescending when you ask questions or ask for help. Extremely unprofessional. Can really tell hes just in it for a paycheck and not to teach

He is really rude when you ask questions and so arrogant. Not supportive and helpful. He makes mistakes in assignment briefs and doesn't do his job correctly. For the grades, he only grades based on his own preferences subjectively.
