I don't think I could do anything right for her. Always felt like I was walking on eggshells

The professor is nice and explains the material well but might be a tough grader sometimes. I recommend asking a lot of questions about your projects and getting her feedback prior to submitting.

She speaks passionately about inclusivity but the way her course is structured is the opposite. She writes an unnecessary amount of 'instructions' for everything, making it very difficult+confusing to understand. She also gave someone else's feedback for my work. She gives feedback very late so for the next project, you don't know what to work on.

She is good professor, I would say she can be tough grader but not really. As long as you do well in her class, ask questions, try to ask for help then you will be fine. She is very detail oriented and makes sure to provide students with all the information they need to do their work. Also she always sends out reminders emails!

Don't recommend unless you'd like to be picked on for every tiny thing you do wrong in the class.

She gives clear instructions and explains what she wants, and she does provide feedback. However, the class feels very one-sided. There is a strong preference for her own aesthetic, and work that doesn't align with it is often discouraged or marked down, even if it meets the assignment requirements.

Ashley gave very informative demos that stuck with me to help me learn. I ended up with great results, and she gave detailed and thought-through feedback on my projects so I could improve as I went along. She gives grades back promptly and has a good pace throughout the class for assignments. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

I find Ashley to be very helpful, direct with lectures (does not waste time and will let us work or go home once we're through all the material) and gives AMAZING and thorough grading feedback. I feel like her class taught me more than any of my other classes, and is giving me a result I am actually proud to have in my portfolio.
