Hyunju Lee

Asynchronous. Very quick with email responses, very helpful via email and during office hours. Makes the course manageable. Very straightforward, not trying to trick you, tells you the best way to prepare for the assessments. Not a bird course. Watch the lectures, do the weekly review questions and quizzes, and you'll do well in the course.

I took Hyunju for my ECN204 class, and it was online asynchronous. There are weekly quizzes that are really easy to do, it's a free 100. She provides the type of questions with solutions beforehand but changes the number during the quiz. The midterms (online) do require some studying but are also fairly easy.

Dr. Lee provides extra credit opportunities through surveys and her quizzes and midterms are very straight forward. It's an easy class, its online and you can get good grades if you try. I just read the book and got nearly perfect so far. She's great. I recommend taking future classes with her.

This class was asynchronous so it was just videos she posted. The class is not that bad but I can't stand watching her videos. She takes so long to explain a simple concept but rushes through a complicated one, I CAN'T STAND HOW SHE SAYS "OKAY" AND "YOU KNOW" AFTER EVERY SENTENCE. NO I DON'T KNOW. IT GETS ON MY NERVES. THE TEXTBOOK IS MORE USEFUL

Doctor Lee is my favorite professor so far. The participation in her classes really shows how engaging and interesting the class and the teaching material is. I hope she teaches more economics courses AT TRSM past the first year because her class lowkey pushed me to choosing the EMS major which I am so grateful for. Thank you so much Doctor : )

Hyunju was awesome throughout the semester. Recorded lectures for us to look back on and was very patient in answering questions. Although course was somewhat tough, she prepared mini-quizzes for us on D2L that prepared us greatly for the midterms and final. Overall, great professor with amazing lectures.

Prof Hyunju was an amazing prof. Explained concepts clearly, held practice sessions, recorded her lectures and provided solutions with notes to the practice sheets. Thank you Prof Hyunju for a good semester and for being awesome!

Very good prof and explained concepts clearly and was nice enough to boost everyone's grade after the midterm and final. Will take classes with her in the future.

2 Midterm 1 Exam. They were kind of hard but got better as course progressed. She teaches very well but if you want a high grade she may not be for you as you have to work hard in her class. But AMAZING teaching style makes u understand it well.

Ignore the low reviews. Those are the people who expected a bird course and did not put in the effort. She is very caring and teaches well. And all of her exam material is based off the homework and slides. NOTHING IS BASED OFF TEXTBOOKS. THE HOMEWORK YOU COMPLETED IS WORD FOR WORD ON THE MIDTERMS AND EXAM. ONLY THE NUMERIC VALUE IS CHANGED.
