Doesnt teach valuable lessons in class, but it's fine because you can use AI really easily for all assignments without him noticing. Mean prof as well.

Very bad at keeping track of participation and attendance. I don't think a single person in my class had the correct grade.

Not a strong prof. not sure how he is the course coordinator seemed to know nothing about the course if asked about it. Often deviated from the outline even after the final exam was done he still made changes and refused to follow his own outline resulting in everyones grades to drop

Very weak as a prof. Super unorganized and has trouble keeping track of attendance/participation so don't expect to get honest marks. if you email him hell be petty. the course was easy you can teach yourself without him.

Miss 2 classes? Your attendance grade gets tanked by 60% because he takes everything to heart. Average for attendance was around 25%, as most people missed more than 2 classes, understandably. Wish I could go back in time and choose another prof

So disappointed with this class. Unfortunately my experience was ruined because of this professor. Very disorganized, boring lectures and frequently changes the course outline. I would recommend for you to take anyone but him.

Professor Laplume is okay. He can be disorganized, often straying from the course outline and posting materials late. Email responses are not very helpful and can come off as rude. Attendance and participation matters. Content is straightforward, but the course centres on a large group project that requires a lot of work. Fair grader.

Me and another student had exactly the same participation yet I was marked lower. When this was brought to Andres attention he responded saying "guess your friend got lucky". My capstone course grades have been reduced to luck not academic performance. TMU Casino.
