She was super nice and accomodating the whole semester. We only had one assignment (40%) and a final exam (60%) but she was open to different perspectives as long as you explained yourself well. Lectures seemed more like a conservation than teaching, which some people may not like. It was almost too easy going of a class, but not too bad overall.

Easy course imo. Definitely attend her review sessions before final as that's when she will tell you what to focus on for MC. Long answers are very open-ended, so you don't even need to know the course material. I didn't attend lectures and did well.

The best, brings immense amount of passion and energy when teaching. Genuinely is always ready to work with students and help them do their best. Her greatest strength is her ability to present things in innovative ways that can frame issues such as wrongful convictions, in new and unique frames, while still resonating the core message.

The final exam is not fair. You can do extremely well and her mc questions on the final are meant to drag you down. If she tells you not to memorize the material, don't listen and go memorize the material. You'll do a lot better.

Pam has been great in giving feedback and being enthusiastic during class. But her final exam was horrible. She tells you not to memorize anything and only understand concepts, but her mc is entirely based on memorization. Also expects you to remember how she reacts to certain things in class. Horrible.

FAVORITE CLASS! Pam cares so much about her students. She is the only prof that actually provides helpful feedback on every assignment. My favourite part about the class was that all the assignments and exams encouraged us to provide our own opinions on topics. Pam is very easygoing and makes learning fun and inclusive.

I really enjoyed all have Pams classes. All her assignments were fun to do and were marked fairly. I have learned so much from her! One thing to note is that her mc questions for her exam are challenging and opinion based but her written questions are fun to do!! Overall great experience!

Only knew 20% of my mark going into the exam. Very slow marker. Easy content but her exam literally did not make any sense. It was based on her** opinions. Would not take again.

Lectures are long but she's an amazing prof

At first I really enjoyed having Pam. She was funny and inspirational however, after writing her final exam I think different of her. She is rude and says to understand concepts and dont memorize yet her exam was hell and she had her own opinions in it. I do not recommend anybody taking her cause she is annoying and talks about her dog a lot.
