This course provides a good introduction into more advanced database topics. The assignments and group project were pretty well-balanced, not too difficult (if you follow along examples in class) and provided some hands-on experience. Some of the topics were very theoretical and the lectures were pretty long and hard to stay awake on those parts.

Probably the best prof ever, really cares about his students and goes above and beyond. I learned more from this course than all of uni. Thank you professor.

He knows a lot and is a nice guy. However, not a fan of his teaching style. His lectures and notes are very disorganized, making it difficult to follow along. He references a lot of different powerpoints and jumps from topic to topic.

He brings a lot wealth of professional and real-world insights into his lectures, which makes the material not only more relatable but also incredibly practical for future career applications. He was always super approachable if you need clarification or help. Highly recommended if interested in databases.

Professor Cam is a very kind and approachable person. He is understanding of people's level of abilities and hurdles and is always willing to help. The 610 class is packed with a lot of material, and it's all relevant for advanced SQL use. The lectures helped me learn a lot about PL SQL.

He actually cares about teaching. This is not a prof who simply reads off the slides. WIth his industry knowledge, he adds alot of important information to what he covers each class. He was very accomodating with submissions, and both the midterm and final were more than fair. I 100% recommend this prof if you wish to be proficient in databases.

Professor Cam is an amazing professor and is engaging in his lectures. He explains concepts very well and makes sure to include a ton of examples to further break down concepts. He's also really approachable and clearly cares about his students. Tests and assignments were very fair if you put in some effort. I'd highly recommend taking his classes.

I had an amazing semester because I felt like I learnt more in this second part of DBMS course than my first one, which I had with a different professor.
