I found the course really fun. His midterms and finals were very straight forward. Getting the CISC handbook is highly suggested. I likely would have done poorly without it and you'll use it for future course and probably industry!
Worse lecturer in the civil department. Boring, unenthusiastic and doesn't take criticism at all. Midterm was set up to artificially fail students
My man Saber is one of the nicest people I know. He constantly asks for your feedback to see if you understood, which is awesome. About the exams, the midterm was fair, but the final exam, man oh man... But in general a solid prof, my advice: talk to him during his office hours, incredibly helpful.
Dr. Moradi is a great professor for strength I. Came to 320 by barely passing pcs211. Dr. Moradi was very thorough in explaining the fundamental physics concepts. Does lots of examples in class and will re-explain if necessary. Very democratic as he constantly asked the students for their feedback and opinions. Only had a final and it was fair
Confusing lectures. Not organized at all. Does not help in office hours.
Dr. Moradi is one of the best 'teacher's in the Civil Eng. dep. If you have a bit difficulty in math and physics certainly take Saber. His explanation is really good. He solves a lot on the board and really cares about the success of his students. He's a bit easy-going but he has a great personality, so don't forget to go to his office hours.
Dr. Saber is the professor you wish you had for every course. He simplifies everything in detail and makes sure everyone understands before proceeding. Kind, knowledgeable and approachable.
