Tanya Karam-Zanders

Dr. Zanders is AMAZING! She's literally the best professor I have encountered my whole academic life! She genuinely cares about ALL her students and her lectures are a huge opportunity for discussion. All opinions are welcomed and she really encourages students to express their feelings and thoughts. Keep the fire in you Dr. Zanders!

If you want a professor to waste your time, money, and brain cells, take a class with her. Lectures have 0 information- she will write one word per slide, you basically have to memorize the textbook and teach yourself everything. Exams are Hard. Shes very annoying, have some consideration for your students.

Dr. Zanders was probably one of the best professors I've had so far! She made every single lecture engaging and interesting. I feel like most if not everything I've learned in that class can be applied to my life. I just feel way smarter now, and even if you're not a psych major, this class is so worth your time!

10/10 would recommend. No trick questions on midterms/exams, reasonable grader and great lectures. Even though a majority of the exam is based off the text, I never missed a class because she makes it so enjoyable.

One of the best profs I've had at Ryerson, she is able to facilitate great discussion with her students and always makes the class enjoyable to attend. Tests are fair and straight forward. Loved this class!

Very engaging and enthusiastic prof. She is a tough grader but makes the information very interesting and makes classes fun. Very caring for her students and is funny.

Simply the greatest. Her exams are extremely straightforward, so attend the lectures and do the readings and youll be fine. At times her lectures may seem slow, but shes overall an extremely fun and caring professor.
