Great Prof! Knows how to prep students for the future and ensure success in class. Teaches ways to be confident in presentations. Highly recommend
Weekly quizzes, midterm, individual project, group project n presentation, final exam. All tests MC and projects were graded on understanding and clarity, not visual appeal. Light and fair marker. Listen to the feedback he gives for presentations. He wants loud and confident presenters, even if u fumble a few words. Not hard to get a good mark.
nice guy. total bird course that fit in well with the rest of my courses. digestible for non science students
He is great! Very knowledgeable and I like how he focuses on making sure people actually understand the material instead of memorizing things. He's pretty chill and usually ends the lectures a little bit early. Really kind guy. Exams were reasonable and he's an easy marker as long as you follow the instructions! Would take him again :)
I wasn't able to find the course code but I took BLG850 What is Cancer? with him and it was an excellent class. He often wants to hear students input and thoughts and create class conversation. He made the topics of cancer relatable to the different programs we were studying therefore making the topic much easier to understand.
He is quite condescending and gives a lot of back-handed compliments. Will never tell you anything encouraging but he's a good prof. His lectures are engaging, I just wish he was a little nicer. A little kindness goes a long way.
He is definitely using Al to generate assignments and possibly grade them too..
It is obvious to students that he is using Chat to create assignments.
Very knowledgeable, focuses on application of knowledge, answers to you questions very well and tries make everyone engaged while in class
He is kind, knowledgeable, and describes complex topics very well. Group projects are fun to do but require spending time and reading papers. I enjoyed taking his course. Great prof!
