After taking many courses through TMU (Ryerson) you start to pick up on which professors/instructors are actually passionate about what they teach. Gail was great, I think stats is by far one of the most beneficial courses in the nursing program and I thank her for being a part of my learning process.
Honestly, Gail's courses are easy to follow but she's rude. I asked for an extension on an assignment and she told me she can't give me one, ill have to do this whole process in which they just ended up telling me it is up to Gail. She's not very clear in her documents, and not everyone has time to go to every class. WE WORK FULL TIME!
I took her class in Nursing Statistics. The course alone is hard but she gives really good lectures and examples for the students to understand better, so it's best that you don't skip her class. She is very approachable and will respond in a timely manner. She will always give you feedback and is willing to help her students!
She is an amazing teacher!! If you attend her online lectures, you will have no trouble passing her course. She explains the content in a simple way and uses lots of examples. Very open to questions and makes sure students understand. The work is hard, but she is there to support you.
As long as you can stay on her good side and participate you should be fine. However, if you do something wrong you will not stay in her good graces. I am genuinely afraid to take this professor again.
Participate in the online discussion boards, at the end of each week she gives her feedback which is engaging. Do not over think the quizzes and follow the content. It's straight forward. Informative. Helpful and Supportive.
Follow the course module and content, participant in online discussions, and don't over think exam questions and you should be more than fine
