Dr. Lim is incredibly kind and clearly interested in the subject. It's the only course I was awake for. The essay is marked a bit tough, but she does provide support, so make sure to reach out to her. 10/10 recommend!

she clearly cares a lot about film which shows in her lectures. she can go on for a while but it always connects to her material. she's understanding and her quizzes are pretty straightforward too.

Sandra is the most caring professor you will probably have. She is very understanding, and caring of her students. She's make class very interesting and is always willing to help her students. She also passionate when she teaches! Highly recommend this professor :)

I think Dr. Lim is awesome, she was very relatable and kind. Her lectures were straightforward, and several were just watching films. She's very understanding about participation, and if you review all the notes and/or attend lectures you'll do just fine on the 3 quizzes, final exam and final essay.

Absolutely loved being in her class. She's so kind and seemed like she genuinely cared about her students. Quizzes are open-book and the assignment was pretty straightforward. I would definitely recommend taking her for POL128.

Used this course as a LL and she made it so simple to break the course down you don't need to attend the lectures in a few of the lectures you do watch movies and my classes were in the DSQ so that was fun assignments super easy and few but the final exam was kind of difficult but only 25 MCQ which was nice. She's a very nice and caring prof.

Easy bird course with a great instructor. She is a caring professor, who is always happy to help, and makes the course highly interesting. All the films we watched were interesting, and the quizzes we had were super light. The final was as easy as it can get, she tends to add many of the practice questions on the exam and quizzes.

Amazing prof who's super caring. Makes the class way easier than other profs teaching this course. A cute little bonus is that she will connect with everyone on Linkedin at the end of the semester! :)

She is a very nice and kind individual, and will try her best to make sure the class is a fun learning experience and GPA booster. When it comes to essays she is a light marker and will even help you out along the way. Amazing prof and amazing course. Will highly recommend this lower liberal to anyone.

Super accommodating, flexible on deadlines, and sweet, don't underestimate the class too much but easy lower liberal. bunch of online open-book take-home quizzes, she dropped the lowest mark. 2 papers, no exam this year but she has in previous ones, gives feedback and help if you ask.
