Doesn't post his slideshows because he takes them directly from the textbook . His accent is very hard to understand even if you go to his lectures. You are much better off with a different professor and learning from the textbook and online videos. Tests are also tough, but doable.

YO F this goof. The whole MIME department is a joke. Their is no Course Coordinator and every prof covers different material. This goof didn't solve a single problem at his lectures. He would point at the solution and yap in Chinese and move on the next problem and do the same. He doesn't post his notes, tutorials or grades. F gerbert.

Hua Lu is dogshit. Him not getting fired is a joke. Looks horrible on the mechanical engineering department as a whole. You actually wouldn't believe how bad he is until you see for yourself.

One of the worst profs at tmu no question or doubt at all. Throughout an entire semester, he will not pick up his pencil and solve even ONE problem. He just points at the solution with a pointer stick. Does not post his lecture slides. Statics is a very easy course if you know what you're doing. To do well go to a different profs lec and textbook

Has heavy accent, reads off the slides which is the textbook.

As someone who has interacted with him more than once, I can easily say that he has a good heart, good guy. Issue is everything else. You won't get communication regarding marks, course is taught poorly, and he just reads off slides that he won't post. I understand the reason he does not post them but still. Honestly just study a lot on your own.

Horrible professor. Doesn't know how to teach. taught entirely off slides taken from the textbook. He doesn't reply to emails and isn't approachable at all. doesn't curve. The format of the midterms and final was very bad. is very inconsiderate and returned all grades right before the finals. If you want to pass, avoid at all costs.

Does not know how to teach. Teaches a complicated course like dynamics with slides taken straight from the textbook. Doesn't explain anything so lectures are useless. Doesn't return grades till the very last moment. Course is based entirely on midterm and finals. If you wanna pass dont bother with this guy. Doesnt curve and isnt approachable at all

Please for the love of God, save yourself and don't take this Professor for Dynamics. I'm not even kidding about how awful a professor can get until you take him for MEC311. MEC 311 is really difficult and his lectures will do NOTHING to help you learn this course.
